On the Options tab of the gateway's Properties dialog box, define the following gateway options:
| • | Only allow authorized fax users to use this gateway - Select this option to instruct FACSys to verify that all fax messages handled by this gateway are sent from authorized FACSys users (i.e., the users have a FACSys user profile). Unauthorized fax messages will be rejected by the fax server and a message will be sent to the FACSys Administrator. |
| • | Automatically create fax user accounts - Select this option to instruct FACSys to create a FACSys user profile when the sender of a fax message does not have a user profile on the fax server handling the outbound transmission. |
| • | Translate all message information to the ANSI character set - Select this option to instruct FACSys to translate all messages and fields before sending faxes via the gateway. If you are having problems with international characters or character sets being converted improperly, then enable or disable this option as required by the gateway. |
NOTES:
| • | The "auto-create" option provides an automated method of creating FACSys user accounts. For information on the effects of enabling this option. |
| • | Before you enable the "auto-create" option, you must make sure that your FACSys user license can support the new accounts. |
| • | Notification - The gateway selected here will be used to send any notifications enabled on the Notification tab og the Server Object's Properties (see Sever Notifications) |
