Associating FACSys Services with a User Account FACSys operates using several of its own native services to control the sending and receiving of faxes. Some of the services log onto Windows to perform their tasks and, therefore, require a Windows account to attach to the server and access the required network resources. After you install the FACSys fax server software, you must associate the FACSys Fax Server service with a Windows user account having the properties listed below. Additionally, if FACSys users will be attaching document files to their outbound faxes and document rendering will be performed at the fax server (rather than locally at the users' workstations), the FACSys Fax Device Manager service must also be associated with a Windows account having the same rights and properties. (This allows the device manager to programmatically launch native applications like Adobe Acrobat or Office Applications to render attachments at the server).
