About FACSys User Profiles
Previous  Top  Next

A user profile identifies one user on a specific fax server in your FACSys network. In addition to maintaining the unique name and password combination required for access to the FACSys fax services, a user profile defines a user's permissions, routing preferences, and dialing properties on the fax server on which the profile is defined.
To gain access to the FACSys Administrator program and the FACSys Desktop client program, and to have a fax processed by a FACSys fax server, the user must have an enabled FACSys user profile on the fax server.

NOTES:

1.If the fax server is configured to authenticate users given their logon information, then every FACSys user must also have a Windows account defined on the fax server.
2.FACSys user profiles are added to the current or active fax server in the FACSys Administrator's resource folder list. To grant a user access to more than one fax server, you must add the user profile to each fax server's User Profiles folder.
3.A FACSys gateway service can be instructed to create FACSys user accounts automatically
