Adding a Fax Device
Previous Top Next |
| · | Many fax boards have multiple channels. FACSys refers to the device that owns the subordinate channels as the "root" device. If you add a fax device that has multiple channels, then the root device and all subordinate channels are added to the Devices folder. You may configure each root and channel device separately
| · | You may select multiple channels and act on them all at once to enable or disable.
| · | You cannot remove a subordinate device; however, you can disable a subordinate device. A board that supports only one channel is identified as a root device that owns a single fax channel.
| · | For additional fax device configurations and notes, review the Technical Support Bulletins on the FACSys Web site.
