Defining Device Advanced Properties

| Modem Speed: The Modem Speed is the speed at which the device operates and reflects the speed at which the fax files will be transmitted.
|
| Host Speed: The Host Speed option is only available for serial modems and reflects the speed at which the PC will communicate with the fax board. For serial fax devices (Class 1, 2, 2.0), the Host Speed must be faster than the Modem Speed. You should select a Host Speed that is at least two times the Modem Speed. For example, if your Modem Speed is 9600, then choose a Host Speed of 19200. If your Modem Speed is 14400, then choose a Host Speed of 38400.

| emFAST will NOT support Class 1, 2, 2.0 modems in Production environments.
