Connecting to a FACSys Fax Server

The Default Login is "Admin"; Default Password is "password"

To manage the resources of a fax server, you must first connect to a fax server. The objects and resources defined for each fax server are listed in the FACSys Administrator folder tree. There is no limit to the number of fax servers to which you can connect simultaneously. If there are five fax servers in your FACSys network, you can open a connection to all five fax servers.

Simultaneous fax server connections give you the ability to view the resources of your entire FACSys network and easily manage the FACSys resources across various servers.

To connect to another FACSys fax server:

1. Click the Connect toolbar button , or choose the File | Connect to Server command. FACSys displays the Connect to Server dialog box.

2. In the field provided, type the name of the fax server to which you want to establish a connection. Then click the OK button.

The fax server and its resources will be listed in the FACSys folder tree.

NOTES:

To connect to the selected server, the computer must be a properly configured FACSys fax server and you must have access to the fax server.

Each FACSys server requires its own unique license file.
