Disabling a Facsys User Account

To disable a user's account temporarily, open the user's account profile and click the Permissions tab. Selecting the option 'This account is disabled and may not logon to this server' turns the user account off but does not delete the account from Facsys.

While an account is disabled, inbound faxes belonging to the user will still be sent to the Facsys user's Inbox and routed to their mail box if  'enable inbound routing' is still turned on or if there is a DID routing code.

To ensure that routing is halted:

• disable the account
• turn off enable routing and remove the routing code
• uncheck 'mail all received faxes to the following mail address'

• route the DID number to another user or group

NOTE: If you are using Facsys Fax Connector and the Microsoft Exchange Gateway, the Facsys Administrator's account must NOT be disabled.
