header

Using the Notifications, messages can be sent in response to the following events:

  • successful faxes
  • unsuccessful faxes
  • received faxes

Unique messages can be configured for each of these situations.

On the Notifications property sheet of the Properties dialog box, define the format of the messages to be sent/received by Facsys users.

Message Notifications

Messages that are defined here are sent to users upon successful/failed faxes. Messages are done with the use of embedded tokens (listed below). All tokens need to be surrounded by a tilde (~).

For faxes received in an electronic mail application, the "received" message that is defined will also appear in the subject field.

Facsys users can turn on or off their own receive notification messages from within the Facsys Desktop, Tools | Options dialog box. For instructions on enabling and disabling this message, refer to the Facsys Desktop manual.

  • Sent Faxes that were successful - Enabling this option allows notifications for successful faxes to be relayed to users.
  • Sent faxes that failed to deliver - Enabling this option allows notifications for failed faxes to be relayed to users.
