When the Facsys fax server software is installed, the Facsys services are also installed with a startup type defined as 'Automatic.' This means that the services will start each time Windows is started.
The following procedure is useful if the services need to be started/stopped/restarted manually on the Facsys server.
To manage the Facsys services:

From Control Panel, run the Services applet. |

From the Service list, highlight the 'Facsys' service to be managed. |
NOTE: A blank in the Status column indicates that the service has not been started.

Do one of the following: |
- To stop the service if it is running, click the Stop button, or right-click and select Stop.
- To start the service if it is stopped, click the Start button or right-click and select Start.
- To make the service automatic or change the service's logon account, click the Startup button. In the Service dialog box, make the Startup Type 'Automatic' and click OK.

To close the Services applet, click the Close button. |
| Note: The Facsys Administrator Tools menu lists a command named Restart Device Manager. Choosing this command will stop and restart the Facsys Device Manager. |
