Network Connectivity

The Facsys Administrator program requires network connectivity to the Facsys fax server. The Facsys Administrator can communicate with the fax server using standard network protocols (ie. TCP/IP or Windows Networking). By default, communication with the fax server is performed via Named Pipes. When using this default connection mode, the Microsoft networking components must be installed on the computer running the Facsys Administrator.

NOTE: To connect to the fax server using native TCP/IP or Windows Networking, administrators can select the required protocol at the time of the connection.
