Print Confirmation Templates

When enabled, print confirmations include thumbnail printouts of faxes sent, including cover pages. Thumbnails are generated for every destination in an outbound fax. Fax confirmations are printed using a template that defines the parameters of the printed output, including page margins, header information, and thumbnail image size.

Facsys includes four templates that can be applied to adjust the output of your print confirmations:

• default (A4).tpl - prints 2x2 thumbnails per page on an A4 paper size
  
  
• default (Letter).tpl - prints 2x2 thumbnails per page on a letter paper size
  
  
• large (A4).tpl - prints one thumbnail per page on an A4 paper size
  
  
• large (Letter).tpl - prints one thumbnail per page on a letter paper size

For every confirmation printed, Facsys refers to the settings defined in the template named "default.tpl" located in the fax server's C:\Program Files\Facsys\Facsys Services\TEMPLATES directory. By default, the "default.tpl" template contains the contents of the "default (letter).tpl" file.

To change the template being applied to the print confirmations, copy the desired template to "default.tpl." For example, to print confirmations at 2x2 on an A4 size, copy the default (A4).tpl to default.tpl. You can do this from a Windows Command prompt or Windows Explorer. You do not have to stop or restart any Facsys services.
