If using an SMTP Gateway, an Exchange Gateway, and/or a Lotus Notes Gateway, faxes can be received as:
- Intel DCX, (eCopy) Simplify UNI, TIFF G3, TIFF G4, or TIFF MH (as previously provided by Facsys)
OR
- Image ONLY PDF file (non-text searchable)
OR
- PDF with original TIF image (delivers a TIF file AND a non-text searchable PDF File)
NOTE:
PDF files can only be routed to a SMTP mail box, an Exchange Mailbox or to a Lotus Notes Mailbox, but not to any other mail gateway type.
Before routing an attached file to a user, an appropriate gateway must be configured.
