All resources defined for the FACSys fax servers are maintained in the FACSys Administrator's folder tree. Because an Administrator can connect to multiple fax servers simultaneously, they have the potential to view all fax resources in the entire FACSys network.

 

The FACSys Administrator displays the folders listed below.

Connections This folder lists the connection objects defined for the fax server, including connections to external service providers and FACSys server-to-server connections. The route assigned to a fax message is determined by many factors, including dialing rules, connection costs, and message properties.

CSI Routes - This folder lists the CSI route information defined for the fax server. These routes may have been detected by FACSys and added to the folder automatically or they may be manually entered.

Devices - This folder lists the fax hardware devices configured for the fax server.

Licenses - This folder lists the FACSys licenses installed on the fax server.

Mail Gateways - This folder lists the electronic mail gateways and gateway objects installed on the fax server.

Queued Items - This folder lists the queued outbound faxes to be sent by the fax server. From within this folder, an Administrator have the ability to cancel fax jobs, although the fax message cannot be opened or displayed.

Reports - This folder lists the FACSys reports available on the fax server.

Inclusion List - This folder lists the fax numbers that users are able to send faxes to.
Blocked List - This folder lists the fax numbers that users are NOT able to send faxes to.
Routes - This folder lists the route address rules defined for the fax server. These rules automate the process of dial number mapping, instruct the fax server to prohibit transmission to specific destination numbers, and/or cause messages to be routed to a specific service provider or fax server.
User Profiles - This folder lists the FACSys user profiles and FACSys user groups defined for the fax server.
