Using Facsys Administrator

The Facsys Administrator program displays the fax server resources in a hierarchical list or a "tree view." At a glance, an Administrator has access to the connections, fax devices, licenses, mail gateways, and user profiles of one or more fax servers in the entire Facsys network.

The Facsys Administrator consists of two panels separated by a "slider bar." To resize the panels, use the mouse to slide the bar to the right or left. Position the mouse over the bar and hold down the mouse button as the bar is moved horizontally.

The two panels in the Facsys Administrator contain the following:

• The Folder Tree - The left-hand panel lists the folders containing the system resources of the Facsys fax server(s) that is connected. All server resource folders are listed under the server name. For more information about the folder tree, see The Folder Tree.
  
  
• The Item List - The right-hand panel lists the items contained in the selected folder. The selected folder is the "opened" or currently active folder in the left-hand panel (ie. When the Mail Gateways folder is opened, all Facsys gateways defined on the active fax server are listed in the right panel).  For more information about the item list, see The Item List.
