The FACSys Fax Viewer is shipped and installed with the FACSys Desktop client software. The Fax Viewer gives you the ability to see the contents of the fax files you send and receive.

In your Windows setup, if your fax file extensions (.DCX or .TIF) are associated with the FACSys Fax Viewer, then the Viewer will launch when you open a file for editing.

FACSys Fax Viewer Features

The FACSys Fax Viewer can display the image contents of one graphic file at a time. The file may consist of one or more pages.  The FACSys Fax Viewer includes the following categories of features for handling graphic files:

Image Handling - The FACSys Fax Viewer's image handling features affect the display of the image in the Viewer's workspace. Image handling commands apply to the display of all pages of the file and include sizing, rotating, enhancing, cleaning, and inverting the image display.
Page Handling - The Viewer's page handling commands help you move quickly from page to page in a multi-page image file.
Text and Line Annotation and Highlighting - The Viewer's text and line annotation features help you make notes, add arrows, and highlight parts of the image.
Edit and File Management - The Viewer's edit and file management features include opening, closing, saving, printing, sending and copying image files.
Image File Conversion - The Fax Viewer can convert your image files into any of the supported file formats: BMP, DCX, MG3, PCX, and TIFF.
Right Mouse Button Floating Menu - To access frequently used commands, click the right mouse button on the displayed image file. The available commands let you quickly change the image display, view the file and image properties, and send the open image as an e-mail attachment.
