Creating a Cover Page |

TIP: Make a copy of the x:\FACSys\Logo\_000.lgo file (This is the Default System Cover Page). Save it under another name, then import it and edit that copy. Most of the tokens you need will already be in place for you to use.
Another TIP: Avoid the use of VERTICAL lines on your fax pages. They transmit slower. Horizontal lines are ok. This is because vertical lines, like in a table, defeat the CCITT Group III bit stuffing compression techniques used in fax transmissions.
To use the FACSys Cover Page Editor to create a new cover page:
FACSys launches the Cover Page Editor application, which you use to create your cover page.
The Cover Page Editor is discussed in detail in the following section.
If you have not assigned a title to the cover page before you saved the file, the Cover Page Editor displays the Set Title dialog box.
The title is assigned to the cover page file and displays in the title bar of the Cover Page Editor.
FACSys closes the Cover Page Editor and then displays the New Cover Page dialog box.
In the Name field, FACSys displays the cover page title you entered in the Set Title dialog box. Make any necessary changes to the name.
To make this a shared cover page available to all FACSys users on your current fax server, enable the 'Shared Cover Page' option.
Your cover page is added to your FACSys Desktop Cover Pages folder.
