To quickly move items from one folder to another, use the standard Windows drag and drop action. Select the item(s) you want to move, and hold down the left mouse button while you drag and drop the item(s) into another folder. The selected item(s) will be moved into the new folder.
To quickly copy items in a folder, select the item(s) you want to move, and hold down the <Ctrl> key and left mouse button while you drag and drop the item(s) into another folder. The selected item(s) will be copied into the new folder.
| NOTES: | You can only move and copy items to a folder that contains the same type of item. For example, you cannot move a phonebook entry from a phonebook folder into a message folder (e.g., Sent Items). However, you can move a phonebook entry from one phonebook to another. |
Move and Copy commands are also available from the FACSys Desktop toolbar and the Edit menu. Select the item(s), and click the desired toolbar button or the menu command.
