Sending Faxes From Your Windows Applications

Top  Previous  Next

To send a fax from a Windows application, the FACSys Desktop must be running at your workstation. The FACSys Desktop application can be either open or running as a background process indicated by the program's system tray icon in your Windows taskbar.

To fax your active Windows document, you simply print to the FACSys Fax Printer. (In most applications, you invoke the print action by choosing the File|Print command.) The FACSys Fax Printer will output  your document to a print file.

FACSys will then do one of the following, depending on the Delivery Options you have defined in the Advanced Options window (Tools|Options|Sending tab).
