The FACSys Desktop displays your fax resources in a hierarchical list or a "tree view." At a glance, you have access to your inbound faxes, outbound faxes, fax phonebooks and fax cover pages.
The FACSys Desktop consists of two panels separated by a "slider bar." To resize the panels, use your mouse to slide the bar to the right or left. Position your mouse over the bar and hold down the mouse button as you slide the bar horizontally.
The two panels in the FACSys Desktop contain the following:
| • | The Folder Tree - The left panel lists the folders that represent the system and personal FACSys resources to which you have access, including your received faxes, sent faxes, system and personal phonebooks, and cover pages. |
| • | The Item List - The right panel lists the items contained in the selected folder. The selected folder is the "open" or currently active folder in the left panel. For example, when you click the Inbox folder, all faxes you have received are listed in the right panel. |
NOTE: All server-based resources are located on the fax server to which you are currently connected. Personal resources include any FACSys phonebooks you may have saved locally.
