FACSys Fax Viewer Annotation Tools

Top  Previous  Next

The FACSys Fax Viewer's annotation tools give you the ability to add notes to your fax image, place arrows on the image and highlight parts of the image.

The text, arrows and highlights you create are "added" to the image. If you print the image, the annotations will also be printed. If you save the image file and later re-open the file, the annotations will still be attached to the image.

To add text, arrows and highlights to an image page, choose any of the following commands:

To invoke the Viewer's text tool, choose the Text command from the Annotate menu.
To add arrows to the displayed image page, choose the Line command from the Annotate menu.
To highlight parts of the image, choose the Highlighter command from the Annotate menu.

You can also click the Text, Line and Highlight toolbar buttons.

NOTE:You can add annotations to your image in its original orientation or while rotated at 180º.

The Annotate menu commands are exclusive; only one option can be in effect at any time. A checkmark to the left of an Annotate command indicates the active option.
