“Inverting” an image reverses the color values of each pixel in the image. All back parts of the image are changed to white and all white parts of the image are changed to black. To invert all pages of the open file, choose the Invert command from the Image menu. Inverting the image a second time changes the image back to its original state. A checkmark to the left of the Invert command indicates that the command is on.
