Resizing Objects on the Cover Page
Previous  Top  Next

To resize a text block or graphic in the Cover Page Editor, first select the object by clicking on it. When selected, several anchor points or handles appear on the marquee or dotted line that surrounds the object. When you move the mouse cursor on top of one of the handles, the cursor changes to a two-headed arrow, .

Drag the corner or border until the object is the size you want.

NOTES:

1.When you resize a text block, you are changing the size of the typing area. The size of the text is not effected. If you make a text block smaller, the text will wrap around to the beginning of the next line, as necessary.
2.When you resize a graphic object, the shape of the object will resize accordingly.

3.When you drag a side or top border, the object size changes only on the side of the border you drag. If you drag a corner, you can change both the top and the side border at the same time. To maintain the aspect ratio of a graphic object, choose the Size to Scale command from the graphic floating menu. Then resize the object. When the Size to Scale option is on, a checkmark appears to the left of the command.
