To make changes to a drawn or pasted graphic object on a cover page:

1.Select the object you want to change.
When the object is selected, handles surround it. At this point, you can display a floating menu by right-clicking on the object. The floating menu that displays depends on the type of object you select: pasted graphic or drawn graphic.

Notice that the floating menu for a drawn object lists the Properties command. When you choose this command, a Properties dialog displays. The properties you can modify for each type of drawing object are the following:

·Line - thickness; color
·Rectangle - thickness and color for the border/line; transparency or color for the background
·Ellipse - thickness and color for the border/line; transparency or color for the background

The floating menu for an imported graphic lists the Size to Scale option. When you select this option, the height to width aspect ratio of the graphic is maintained as you resize the graphic.

2.Make changes to the object.
The changes you may make include the following:

·modifying the properties of a drawn object
·cutting the object and placing it into the Windows clipboard
·copying the object for use elsewhere
·deleting the object from your cover page
·positioning relative to other objects
·centering the object either horizontally or vertically on your cover page
·resizing the object by dragging its handles
