| To display the Options dialog box, choose the FACSys Desktop Tools | Options command.

| On the Reading tab of the Options dialog box, define the default settings that affect the display of your received fax messages.

| When you move, delete, or open a fax message, the actions you define here will occur. You can also define color coding to your outbound fax message recipients so you can quickly determine message delivery status.

| Selecting the option "By default, open message in Edit mode" changes the default behavior of the "double-click on a message item" action. When selected, double-clicking on a message item will cause the fax image to be displayed directly in the Viewer application associated with the image extension.
