Fitting an Image in the FACSys Fax Viewer
Previous  Top  Next

The FACSys Fax Viewer gives you the ability to fit the displayed image page within the Viewer's workspace area. These commands are helpful if you have resized the FACSys Viewer window and zoomed in or out of the image display. The following "fit" commands are available from the Image menu:

· Fit Width - To view the entire width of an image page and fit its full width within the workspace window, choose the Page Width command from the Image menu.
·Fit Height - To view the entire length of an image page and fit its full height within the workspace window, choose the Page Height command from the Image menu.
·Fit Page - To center the image display in the Fax Viewer workspace window, choose the Fit Page command from the Image menu. The image is centered in the workspace window.
·You can also click one of the Fit toolbar buttons.

A checkmark to the left of a "fit" command on the Image menu indicates the active option.

NOTE:To have the Viewer maintain the aspect ratio of the image automatically when you resize the FACSys Fax Viewer application window, choose the Auto Size option from the View menu. This option toggles on and off when you choose it. When the Auto Size feature is on and you change the size of the Viewer window, the Viewer will resize the displayed image automatically according to the current "fit" option. For example, if the Fit Height option is active when you resize the Viewer window, the image display will be modified automatically to retain the Fit Height display mode.
