Moving Objects on the Cover Page

To move a text block or graphic object in the Cover Page Editor, first select the object by clicking on it. When selected, several anchor points or handles appear on the marquee or dotted line that surrounds the object. When the mouse cursor is moved on top of the selected object,  the pointing arrow cursor also includes a four-headed arrow.

 

This cursor indicates that the object may be moved by dragging it to a new position. While this cursor appears, click and hold down the left mouse button. Drag the object to a new location, and release the mouse button. The object will be moved to the new location.

 

 

NOTES:

  • Selected object can also be moved by using the arrow keys on the keyboard. The selected object will move in the direction of the pressed arrow key.
  • Multiple selected objects can also be moved simultaneously. Select all objects to be moved and then use any of the move actions to move the selected objects to a new location. All selected objects will be moved together.
