To resize a text block or graphic in the Cover Page Editor, first select the object by clicking on it. When selected, several anchor points or handles appear on the marquee or dotted line that surrounds the object. When the mouse cursor is moved on top of one of the handles, the cursor changes to a two-headed arrow, .
Drag the corner or border until the object is the desired size.
NOTES:
When the size of a text block is altered, the size of the typing area also is altered. The size of the text is not affected. If the text block is made smaller, the text will wrap around to the beginning of the next line, as necessary.
When a graphic object is resized, the shape of the object will resize accordingly.
When the side or top borders are 'dragged', the object size changes only on the side of the border that is 'dragged'. If this is done to a corner, both the top and the side border is changed at the same time. To maintain the aspect ratio of a graphic object, choose the Size to Scale command from the graphic floating menu. Then resize the object. When the Size to Scale option is on, a checkmark appears to the left of the command.
