Exporting Phonebook Data

To export phonebook data, choose the Tools | Export | Phonebook command. Follow the instructions in the Export wizard to export the information to an ASCII formatted file.

 

Then do the following:

  1. Select the phonebook folder to be exported.
  2. Define the export file name.
  3. Select a field delimiter to be used to separate each field of data in the export file.
  4. Select the fields to be exported.

NOTES:

  • The resulting data file will be in ASCII text format, delimited by the character defined in step 3.
  • Fields for export can be selected, but the order of the fields cannot be changed. The fields will be exported in the order in which they appear in the field list.
