Periodically, names may need to be deleted from a phonebook.
Use the Remove action with caution. After an entry is removed, FACSys deletes all information pertaining to the entry.
Note that a user can only delete recipient entries from a system phonebook if they have the appropriate rights in their FACSys user profile.
To remove phonebook entries:
| 1. | In the phonebook entry detail list, highlight the person or group name(s) to be removed. |
To delete multiple entries simultaneously, use the standard Windows multiple select procedures (e.g., click and drag the mouse, or hold down the Ctrl or Shift keys).
| 2. | Click the Delete toolbar button. The Edit | Delete command can also be used. |
FACSys displays a delete prompt.
| 3. | To remove the selected entr(ies), click the Yes button in response to the delete prompt. |
FACSys removes the entr(ies) from the phonebook.
