Facsys Fax/Routing Gateway consists of the following client components that are installed at the workstation:
- Facsys Desktop Client - The Facsys Desktop is the application from which faxes can be managed and monitored. Using the Facsys Desktop, a user's personal fax environment can be customized, faxes can be scheduled, incoming/outgoing faxes can be managed as well as personal phonebooks and cover pages.
- Facsys Cover Page Editor - Facsys is shipped with an integrated Cover Page Editor that provides an easy to use interface for creating and maintaining fax cover pages. Using the Cover Page Editor, cover pages that have text, drawn objects, interpreted fields, and pasted graphics from other applications can be created.

- Facsys Fax Viewer - The Facsys Fax Viewer allows a user to see the contents of the fax files sent and received. In addition to viewing fax files, the Fax Viewer provides features for image annotation and highlighting.

- Facsys Fax Printer - With the installation of the Facsys Desktop client, a Facsys Fax Printer is created and configured automatically. The Facsys Fax Printer gives a user the ability to "print to fax" from a Windows applications and to render fax message file attachments locally at the workstation.
NOTE: The Facsys Administrator uses the Facsys Administrator program to configure and maintain the Facsys fax server.
