To help address your fax messages, you can access information from the following MAPI-compliant address books:
| • | Exchange Global Address List |
| • | Exchange Personal Address Books |
| • | Public and Local Outlook Contacts |
In addition to the above address books, you can access the following:
| • | Shared and Personal FACSys Address Books |
| • | Temporary FACSys Search Results Folder |
| • | FACSys Users List (the individuals and user groups on your current fax server) |
If the destination address you are looking for resides in your email address book, click the Open E-Mail Address Book button in the Select Recipients dialog box. In your email program's "Select Names" dialog box, open a desired address book and select one or more destination names. All destination names you select are added to the FACSys Select Recipients dialog box.
| • | To send your fax to a FACSys user on another fax server, enter the fax address destination as: <servername\FACSys Alias>. For example, to send your fax to Amy Smith's FACSys Inbox on the fax server named YODA, enter the address as YODA\AMYS. |
| • | If you cannot access your Outlook Contact lists after clicking the Open E-Mail Address Book button, verify that you have configured the Outlook folder to display as an e-mail address book. This option is available from Outlook. Display the properties of the Contacts folder and click the Outlook Address Book tab. Enable the option 'Show this folder as an e-mail Address Book.' |
