To quickly move items from one folder to another, use the standard Windows drag and drop action. Select the item(s) to be moved, hold down the left mouse button, drag-and-drop the item(s) into the target folder.
The selected item(s) will be moved into the new folder.
To quickly copy items in a folder, select the item(s) to be moved, hold down the <Ctrl> key and left-mouse button, drag- and-drop the item(s) into the target folder. The selected item(s) will be copied into the new folder.
| NOTES: | Items can be moved or copies to a folder that contains the same type of items. (ie you cannot move a phonebook entry from a phonebook folder into a message folder (e.g., Sent Items). However, you can move a phonebook entry from one phonebook to another. |
Move and Copy commands are also available from the FACSys Desktop toolbar and the Edit menu. Select the item(s), and click the desired toolbar button or the menu command.
