Supported File Attachments and Text Formatting

Rich Text Format

Facsys fax servers have the ability to render rich text formatted (RTF) documents natively. Implementation of RTF rendering permits a user to fax elaborate documents or cover page messages with special formatting features beyond that of plain ASCII characters.

Full support of font typeface selection, paragraph formatting, and justification enables a user to fax messages as seen on the display without having to invoke external programs or perform printing functions to render messages.

Supported File Attachment Formats

In addition to the rich text formatting of  fax documents and fax cover pages, file attachments can be included in outbound fax messages. There is no limit to the number of attachments contained within each fax message created.
