FACSys Fax Viewer Annotation Tools

Top  Previous  Next

The FACSys Fax Viewer's annotation tools give users the ability to add notes to fax images, place arrows on the image and highlight parts of the image.

The text, arrows and highlights created are "added" to the image. If the images are now printed,  the annotations will also be printed. If the annotated file is saved and later re-opened, the annotations will be visible in the file.

To add text, arrows and highlights to an image page, choose any of the following commands:

To invoke the Viewer's text tool, choose the Text command from the Annotate menu.
To add arrows to the displayed image page, choose the Line command from the Annotate menu.
To highlight parts of the image, choose the Highlighter command from the Annotate menu.

These menu options are also available on the toolbar.

NOTE:Annotations can be added to images when they are in their original orientation or rotated at 180º.

The Annotate menu commands are exclusive; only one option can be in effect at any time. A checkmark to the left of an Annotate command indicates the active option.
