Editing Text, Arrows and Highlights in the Facsys Fax Viewer

To select an annotation, turn the Text, Line or Highlight tools off and click on the annotation. (The tools are off when none of the tool commands or toolbar buttons are selected. To turn the tools off, choose the tool commands from the Annotate menu or click on the toolbar buttons.)

When an annotation is selected,  the entire annotation is selected and surrounded by a "marquee" or dotted line. Several anchor points or handles are included on the marquee.

While an annotation is selected, the following can be done:

• To move the annotation, move the mouse cursor on top of the annotation. The mouse cursor changes to a four-sided arrow. Click and hold down the left mouse button. Drag the entire annotation to a new location, and release the mouse button.
  
  
• To delete the selected annotation, press the <Del> key on your keyboard.
  
  
• To resize the annotation, move the mouse cursor on top of a marquee anchor point or handle. Click and hold down the left mouse button. Drag the anchor point to a new location, and release the mouse button. The annotation area is scaled to a new size. Note that when the size a text box is changed, the size of the text does not change.

NOTE: To quickly delete all annotations from the image, choose the Clear All command from the Annotate menu. For a multiple page image file, all annotations on all pages of the file will be deleted.
