FACSys Offers Many Ways To Send a Fax

Top  Previous  Next

With FACSys, a fax can be sent in many different ways.  Faxes can be sent using the FACSys Desktop, a Windows application using the 'print to fax' technology, an e-mail application, and a drag and drop procedure. FACSys also supports sending faxes via a DDE command interface, embedded codes in a print stream, the Internet, and custom applications developed with the FACSys Active Fax Messaging object model.

Because FACSys is easy to configure and maintain, users can use more than one method to send faxes. (ie users can alternate between using Word and Outlook to send faxes).  Regardless of the methods used to create faxes, FACSys will transmit and track all faxes sent (no matter how they are sent).

The table below summarizes the faxing methods supported by FACSys. For detailed procedures on using each method, refer to the source indicated.

Use the supported embedded codes to develop the custom utility, and install the queue monitoring programs provided with the FACSys SDK.
