Forwarding Messages
Previous  Top  Next

When you forward a fax, FACSys sends a copy of the fax to the remote destination(s) you specify. The procedure for forwarding faxes is similar to the procedure for scheduling a new fax. However, when forwarding a fax, FACSys adds the fax image as an attachment to your new message.

NOTE: You must have permission to forward faxes as defined in your FACSys user profile.

To forward a fax to another location:
1. Place a checkmark in the box to the left of any fax message.
2. From the toolbar, select Forward.
3. Make any changes to the fax message, and click Send.

Fax Options

1.On the Recipient tab , using the Show Entries From: dropdown box, select the desired phonebook.

2. On the left hand side, place a check mark beside the names of the fax recipients. Between the left and right-hand side boxes, there are two arrows. One pointing to the right and one pointing to the left. The right-pointing arrow will ADD recipients to the fax message and the left-pointing arrow will REMOVE recipients from the fax message.

3.On the Message Tab, use the Browse button to locate any file you wish to add to the fax message. Use the Attach button to attach the located file(s) to the fax messsage. If more than one file needs to be attached, repeat this action as many times as desired. The fax image of file to be forwarded is already attached to this new message.

Select the cover page, and enter the Subject of the fax message. Any text entered in the Message textbook will appear within the Notes field on the Cover page.

4.Use the Options tab to set the time and date that the fax should be sent. You can also select "Send during off peak hours". Billing codes and Priority can also be set here. User defined fields entered here will appear on the User defined fields of the cover page.

On each of the tabs, there is a Send button at the top and at the bottom of each of the screens.
